Which Karate Uniform is the Best?

When you ask which uniform is best for your needs. How do you select the one suitable for your needs. One you feel comfortable in and also fills your needs, Use our Uniform Size chart to determine the correct size to order. Also consider what you want the uniform for and what color you would like   Following are a few suggestions:

• Competitors
  • I currently compete in Martial Arts Tournaments myself, I prefer a slightly heavier Gi-Uniform.The events that I compete in are Kata and Sparring I like the heavier cotton because the noise the uniform makes when techigues are performed with speed. Also it provides better durability for the rigors of competition,
    • So I would suggest the Adidas Elite and Adidas Champion range
• Training
  • If you are doing lots of training I would recommend a Gi with a softer feel for both your comfort, and to make it easier for students move with speed and flexability.
    • My favorite in this category are the US Star and Contest.
• Junior (Kids)
  •  
    • Because they are not as hard on their Uniforms kids would be just fine in the Adidas Junior range. A low cost light weight uniform to get you started

Warranty and Return Policies

At the Mykarateuniform Store: Your Complete Satisfaction is our Goal, however we ask that you Please be Certain that you want a Uniform or accessory, before you place an order. Merchandise can only be returned for exchange or store credit for an item from the same manufacturer within 5 business days of receipt. No Refunds.

Please be sure to obtain your RMA# prior to sending back the package regardless of the reason. Any returned merchandise without an RMA# will be REFUSED and returned to the sender, possibly causing additional delays, and cost to its sender.

As an authorized reseller for the brands that we represent, purchases made through The My Karate Uniform Store, are covered by the Manufacturers warranties of the merchandise only. There are no other warranties express or implied including those of Merchantability or Fitness for a Particular Purpose not expressly stated on these pages.

Why are your Karate Uniforms/Gis Cheaper than Their's?

First, all of the products sold here are the genuine article. The Adidas uniforms are the same ones that you have found on other websites,  with one slight difference: Ours Cost You Less. The reason is quite simple, we choose to offer our uniforms/Gis at a cheaper than most of our competitors. Our unifroms are not advertised at a more than market price and slashed to make it look cheap[. The price you see is the genuine price.. Also the merchandise is drop-shipped from their warehouse, we have no inventory cost. The only downside is that because our orders are drop shipped, there is often one extra day needed for shipping. However, most of our customers find that a small price to pay given the money that they save.

How much will shipping cost?

The basic shipping charge is only $15.00. That fee covers Insured UPS Ground shipping to any of the mainland United States. 
We normally ship all in stock items within 5 business days from the time your order is received. Orders are usually shipped via UPS and actual delivery time will vary according to your UPS Zone. (in most cases it averages 5-10 business days from the day that the order was placed) Any item that is "out of stock" will be backordered and will be shipped immediately upon it's arrival in our warehouse.

Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control will require additional shipping time. Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer. Some items may be temporarily out of stock for as long as 2 to 6 weeks weeks due to color, style, size or other unforeseen circumstance. We will contact you if items are backordered and customers will be notified if item ordered has been discontinued or is no longer available.

If you are requesting a rush order and require delivery before times indicated, please e-mail for current shipping times for particular products and locations.

Shipping and Handling charges are based on merchandise totals BEFORE any discounts. If the order is under 3 lbs. we will ship via FEDEX Ground, if it is above 3 lbs. the order will be shipped via UPS Ground.  

What is the CVVII code asked for during ordering?

After entering your credit card information you will be presented with an empty field with the words CVV(II) Number. On Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards the CVV(II) number is a 3-digit number printed in the signature block on the rear of the credit/debit card. On American Express cards, the CVV(II) number is a 4 digit number which can be found on the front of the card
